Great album from this new supergroup with Ian Wallace (King Crimson), Mel Collins (King Crimson, Camel), Michael Clay (Hands), Ernie Myers (Hands) and Adrian Belew (King Crimson) guesting.
The result is a tasteful sandwich where the bread is early King Crimson, the butter is Van Der Graaf Generator and the cheese is Genesis. All tracks have complex beautiful arrangements with great vocals. The last track on the album "Better Be Right" is my favourite track beacuse it has the same beautiful feeling as King Crimsons masterpiece " I Talk to The Wind". The albums name "Volume One" makes me hope for many more "Volumes" from this great band.

These days Ian Wallace can be found reunited with former members of King Crimson in the hugely popular 21st Century Schizoid Band. "Fission Trip" is the latest album to come from this highly respected drummer and includes the tracks "Make It ... Full DescriptionAll Up", "Spectrum" and "Better Be Right". The album will no doubt appeal to fans of Wallace's previous solo album "Happiness With Minimal Side Effects" and of course his work with King Crimson and the 21st Century Schizoid Band.
