С некоторым душевным трепетом пишу эту новость. Не потому, что весчь особо выдающаяся, хоть меня и кольнула - и зудеть продолжает. Просто так странно: уже целый один раз не привлёк этот альбом массового внимания, хотя, казалось бы, - итальянцы! Почти спейс-прог! Что то будет нонче?
Итак, нонче - италлопроговая группа одного альбома, с попеременным нажимом то на клавиши, то на гитары. То орган солирует под аккомпанемент гитар, то - гитара под аккомпанемент клавиш, эдакий семейный диалог. Клавиши - буквально космические, чуть психоделичные, уносящие в облаце и дальше, гитара - сильно профуззная, тянет вниз и в 70-е прошлого века. Вокал, конечно же, итальянский. Драммера ругают, но в барабаны я редко вслушиваюсь, так что общее моё ощущение - до крайности положительное. Чего и вам желаю!
Про группу пишут до крайности мало:

A group from Sondrio, Lombardy, formed in 1976, La Pentola di Papin only released an album the following year for the small Disco Piu label.
Two of the musicians, Bettini and Stangoni, had played together since the early 70's in various bands, I Tronchi, Le Lacrime, Vitamina C.

Zero-7 is a good album, though not essential. It shows slight classical influences with keyboards to the fore, but a fuzz guitar takes it back to some early 70's atmospheres. With only a few concerts in their area, the group broke up soon after the LP release.

И про сам альбом тоже не густо:

Long since forgotten gem from the late 70's Ital-Prog scene with some beautiful melodies and colorful character. In many ways this album is reminiscent of the best work of PFM with the addition of loads of scrumptious fuzz guitar. This quartet juxtapose classical keyboard arrangements with a heavy dose of Progressive elements characteristic of this region during this time. "Zero - 7" features some strong keyboard work with organ, mellotron, moog and piano to boot! Sonically this well preserved but aged recording offers some wonderful stereo panning and grand speaker separation. IMHO I would rank this right up there with the classics of this era... An essential album my friends. Do not stop... do not pass go... go directly to jail.

A minor league progressive band who attracted little attention in the late seventies. Their album didn't contain many ideas beyond the average, and was dominated by string synthesizers, piano and a remarkably strange, almost psychedelic, distorted guitar sound. Apart from that, the album is comparable to Corte Dei Miracoli and the keyboard work of Hugh Banton in Van Der Graaf Generator. The track "Introduzione" (9:43) contains some fine instrumental work, but the rest of the album was largely song-based.
